Go by the heaviest thing that will ever cross the channel — not what usually does.

If you're between two, go one class up.

What else do I need besides the channel?

Every run needs an end cap at the closed end and an outlet where the water leaves — usually an end cap outlet or a sump unit connected to your drain. Some systems, like Threshold Luxe 60, also use connectors between lengths.
